Two Bowl Sizes Offer Versatility
With the Toddler Two-Bowl Set, you can serve your toddler a meal with two different foods, or use one for snacks and one for the main meal. The Toddler Small Bowl is the right size for a first feeding, a snack-size portion, or dessert, while the Toddler Large Bowl is ideal for serving portions large enough to nourish your growing toddler.

Encourages Eating Through Fun Learning
Featuring educational, story-telling designs, the Toddler Two-Bowl Set will keep your child engaged during meals. Lunchtime will become learning time with the help of the bowls' animal characters--a rabbit, sheep, mouse, and bird--as well as the bowls' bright, contrasting colors and numbered rims that teach counting.

Easy-Scoop Sides Ideal for Self-Feeding
Softly contoured, easy-scoop sides help children capture food and successfully move it from bowls to mouth, supporting them in the process of self-feeding and making it easier to scoop food onto a spoon or fork.

Anti-Slip Bases Prevent Spills
With stabilizing, anti-slip bases, these toddler bowls can withstand the adventurous eating of your little one. The anti-slip bases prevent spills, helping you and your child avoid some of the mess that comes with learning how to eat.

Contains 0% BPA
The Toddler Two-Bowl Set is free of BPA to help protect your child. Bisphenol-A (BPA) is a synthetic estrogen used to harden polycarbonate plastics and epoxy resin. Long suspected to be harmful, recent studies have shown that BPA may have ill health effects. A major concern with BPA is that it might leach from plastic feeding utensils, baby bottles, pacifiers, sippy cups, and food containers into beverages and foods. To help protect your toddler from potentially dangerous hormones, it's best to choose products like the Toddler Two-Bowl Set, which contains 0% BPA.

Dishwasher and Microwave Safe
Designed to be easy for children to use, the Toddler Two-Bowl Set is also designed with the needs of parents in mind. The bowls are dishwasher, sterilizer, and microwave safe for quick warming and easy cleaning.

Baby Feeding - How Often Does a Newborn Baby Need to Be Fed?

How often a newborn baby needs to be fed depends on many factors, but the general rule is that a newborn should be fed at fairly regular intervals, any times a day and straight through the night, at least for the first few months. Many parents struggle with knowing how often their baby needs a bottle, how much they need to drink and how to tell when they have had enough.

The requirement of every baby will differ slightly and baby food products will commonly state a recommended amount on the packaging, commonly based on the weight of the baby. While these are a good guideline, most babies will not quite fit into these patterns, some babies will want less food, but more regular feeding, while others will feed much more than the recommended amount and may still appear hungry.

Baby Feeding

The weight of your baby is a good indication to go by, if your baby is getting enough food, they will gain weight steadily. If you are concerned that your baby is not feeding well or that they are not gaining weight, then you should talk to your condition counselor about which steps, if any, need to be taken. Some babies plainly do not fit into the mean patterns but you should all the time make sure this is the case as sometimes a baby can be having strangeness with the type of formula they are drinking. In the case of breastfeeding, the mothers diet can sway the flavor of the breast milk and this could cause the baby to be less inclined to feed.

Four Natural Parenting Tips to Help You utter Your Sanity

Are you into "natural parenting"? Do you parent according to the ideas of "attachment parenting"? Regardless of your label of choice, choosing to embark on a non-mainstream parenting lifestyle means production yourself vulnerable to all of its one hundred and one challenges.

When you choose to use cloth diapers, co-workers will call you "strange." When your two-and-a-half year old son is still nursing, your dentist will refer to it as "bad." Forbid your child to eat candy, and your neighbor may accuse you of "taking away her childhood." When your four-year-old is still sleeping with you and your spouse, friends will tell you that "it's going to ruin your marriage." I have not been a "natural parent" for very long; just a dinky under three years as I write this. But in that short space of time, I have learned some important lessons that I would like to pass on to whatever who feels at all overwhelmed by trying to do the natural parenting thing "right."

Baby Feeding

With that in mind, here are four natural parenting tips that will help you to allege your sanity.

1. Prioritize.
Accept the fact that you can't do everything.

Do you homeschool three kids and try to make all your food from scratch as well as wash the laundry by hand? Are you miserable in the process? I give you permission to buy a washing machine. And/or to feed your house a "healthy" convenience meal (such as whole wheat spaghetti with jarred organic pasta sauce) two or three times a week.

2. Be a diplomat.
I've learned that sure answers to sure questions will provoke criticism. And I've learned that if I get defensive, I could cause strain in my relationships. So I answer in as courteous, yet vague, way as possible.

For example, When person asks you, "Is your baby sleeping through the night?", naturally reply, "We're all getting plentifulness of rest, thanks for caring!" Or, if person asks you, "Wow, three kids and your pregnant a-gain? How many you planning to have, anyway?" make them laugh: "Well, as soon as my husband and I form out how all this works, we'll let you know."

3. Don't major on the minors.
Say your mum started you on solids when you were five months old and wonders why Junior, at seven months, is still exclusively breastfeeding. You could do one of two things:

Spend the next some months arguing back and forth, getting defensive, and hurting your relationship, or Send her links to relevant online articles and tell her you're doing the best you can given the current scientific research, just as you are sure she did for you when you were a baby. And then drop the issue.
4. Delegate.
If you have children older than four years old in the house, they should be helping with the household chores on a daily basis. If you have at least two kids over the age of eight in the house, you should be free of at least half of the housecleaning tasks. If you do and you're not, start training them now. As a veteran schoolteacher, I can promise you that children are more capable than we give them credit for.

Parenting is hard enough. Let these four natural parenting tips ease you of some of your burden, and help you find more peace in your day.
